Computer Recycling Programs

We offer top-of-the-line security checks and installation by our toppest-of-the-line security professionals.  We’ll make sure you have the latest security software on the market, and we’ll also double-check your hardware to make sure access is completely revoked to only those individuals you want accessing your valuable data.

We specialize in the installation of firewalls and anti-virus protection software, and we’ll make sure you stay up-to-date on all new patches and updates, to make sure your private information stays as absolutely safe as possible.

eBay Auctions

Are you an individual who has an old computer or some hardware to recycle?  Bring it to us, and we’ll auction it off on eBay and give you a portion of the profit.  We’ll even do all the work, while you sit back and smile.  Here’s how it works:

  Bring us what you’ve got (don’t let us auction it if you don’t think it will sell, but you can ask us — we’re good judges of that type of thing).

  If you have items that won’t sell, we’ll let you know, and you can either take them back or give them to us to recycle for you; if you have enough stuff, we’ll even give you a portion of the money we make — just like our corporate recycling programs!

  If you have items that  will sell, then you can pay the eBay listing fees, and we will worry about all of the photos, listing, packing, and shipping.  Keep in mind, the more money you spend to list the item, the more buzz your item will be likely to generate, but your final profit will be less.  Choose wisely, grasshoppa.

  When the auction is over, if your item sells, we’ll give you a portion of what we make on it.  There are plenty of opportunities to make a pretty decent bundle off of your goods if you sell the right stuff.

  When the auction is over, if your item does not sell, you are free to take it home and do with it what you want, but we’d advise you to recycle it with us.  If your item doesn’t sell, we’ll give you a portion of what we make from recycling it to help make up for the eBay listing fees.  Most of the time when this happens, the customer breaks even or even makes a little extra, and they always go home happy.

Mobile Phone Repair

Tech Stars offers repair services for a variety of mobile devices, including all iPhone models, and select Android devices, depending on the hardware and version of the operating system and/or ROM.  We will attempt to repair your phone even if your warranty is voided, but if your warranty is not voided, we don’t accept responsibility for any warranty issues you may experience with your mobile phone provider after the repair.

We offer both hardware and software repair services for iPhones and software-only repairs for Android devices.  If you have “bricked” your device, we will attempt to repair it, but make no guarantees.  If your phone is “soft-bricked”, we should be able to get it functional again fairly easily, depending on the version of the operating system and/or ROM.  If your phone is “hard-bricked”, we will at least attempt to do everything within our power, but most of the time in those cases, your phone is about as useful as an actual brick.

For a flat fee, we will attempt to install aftermarket and/or beta software on your phone.  Please keep in mind that in most cases, this will void your warranty, which we do not accept responsibility for, no do we accept responsibility for bricked devices caused by this process, unless we are extremely knowledgeable about and comfortable with the software or ROM you have chosen to be installed.
